hey cush the seam sealer is kind of like a silastic, if you look inside the boot of your mini, along the seams on the inside (where the seam covers are on the outside) you'll notice a bunch of blob like crap smeared all over it, its to keep out watar and moister from getting in between panels, from factory they just sloshed it on with a brush, which you can redo, but i used a corking gun and got it all in the right places, every single seam in my mini has been seam sealed.
sorry i forgot to add, my full step by step was, prime, seam seal, stone chip, prime, seam seal, k&h body deaden, prime and then 2k.........

we had the time and want it to last forever....its not a trailer queen, its a daily driver.

I'm going to disagree.. I think black works best for the wheel arches. Unless it's a trailer queen, they're going to get filthy and never look their best.. at least a dark wheel well hides the muck in the shadows.
That and I think a light colour looks a bit odd behind black tyres, but that's just me..
black shows up more dirt then coloured wheel wells (same principles for black paint), my current 850 daily driver has body coloured wheel wells, which i havent washed in about half a year and they are still look clean, my 2c
