Ok kids,

Erin (Shermn on here) wants to get her clubby ready for painting.

So, if we could get a little help fininshing things off in the engine bay, get the engine actually running, rub back/bog the few little bits that still need attention, she would really appreciate it.

My place - Saturday 29th December - from early 'till the afternoon.

If you can come, I'll PM the address to you.

Thanks

Invite Doogie and Aaron
Twenty two minutes flat and then you can spend the rest of the day on other things - like grog.

but is that auto paint or just ordinary spray paint?

theres a mini that was painted by an artist that had many different coloured thin stripes runnng over the body (from side to side). if anyone knows of this mini and can help me find a picture, that would be great. it is a possability that that is how i want ele to be painted

Yeah I know that one, I had a look through my books but can't find it.

Was it Mary Quant?? I know it was some artist or artistic type who commissioned it..

That would be the Paul Smith mini , he designed the car and two were made with the multi stripes , there was a later version made for public sale but was a blue/purpleish colour with fancy badges .

Might be easier to give Erin a set of striped glasses and tell her you painted the mini that colour 8)

Why didn't you ask me before who did that oe Erin , it's a very famous mini ?
