I have a 3/8" bolt with a big thick washer welded on it that's a nice fit inside the bearing ring.
I put it inside the bearing ring and then tack it with the MIG in 8 places.
I then use an 850 diff yoke as a spacer above it, fit a nut and flat washer and wind the sucker out.

Then I grind the remains of the ring off the washer, ready for next time. :D

OK I used the above method I posted to get the idler bearing out after trying the "heat it up hit & it with a hammer method" All I succeeded in doing was stripping the top flange off the bearing case. Now I have a bear shell lining the hole  Any suggestions?

Get a die grinder or fast electric drill, and use a small grinding wheel to gently cut through the casing of the needle bearing. It's pretty hard stuff...
