Great News! and Leo gets to see some more sunshine again!!

I just hope the reward went to some member of the public and not a fringe dweller known to the scumbags who lifted it

I have to wonder who's doing all the original mini thefts these days.

It's not the sort of car where you break up a dispose of parts openly, say thru a wrecker.

Makes you wonder who's doing it and who's buying the parts.

Maybe the theft's are done to order?

How would you dispose of a stolen genuine Cooper S?
You would buy a motor and tag off ebay and change the cars numbers.
Two hours work. :(

I do believe the thief is amoungst us anyway - maybe if we put a How-To up on "How to rebirth a mini" we could include something to ensure they got caught - such as "Step 11. Make sure you write your name and telephone number on the dashboard"

did this guy own up to stealing the moke?

obviously the thief knows the value of its parts and was probably just hoping that the owners would move on. glad they didnt.

its quite obvious that someone with an affiliation with mini's is involved
