I need a set of those and have been chasing them for two years.

Somebody told me its easy to simply cut normal (common anyway) length wing nuts to the correct twin carby air filter length, drill out the centre and tap the thread. Easy they said !!!

Its beyond my resources.

Just ring any particular used mini parts guy in the UK (Get the number from the back of a UK mini mag) and ask them directly. They often have these lying around.

Last pair I bought cost less than 20 bucks by doing just this. While you're there, also ask about some other rare bit you're after and I'll bet you will be very surprised for price and availability.

(but shhhh....this is between you, me and the computer alright??)
