Normally you just take the chrome ring off the front of the light , put the guard inside the chrome ring and put it back on , unless there are some other mounting lugs or anything there for it ?

Random I just did mine today!!!!!
This is how I did mine.

Step1: remove outer headlight ring (pull up and out to remove)
Image

Step2: undo the 3 inner retaining ring screws (not all together or the light will fall out) and screw back in with the new clip.
Image

Step3: put back outer headlight ring, and clip on guards. I found that have the mesh pattern on an angle worked best. Just a matter of rotating round and finding the magic combo that lets all 3 clips go through. A little bit of bending the clips out to make it nice and tight.

Step 4: check out your new rally look, ha!

OK , different to mine , mine have a lip around the edge that sits under the chrome ring .
