A BIG thanks to Mick and Davo111 for poping out yesterday to lend a hand with my clubbie.
People may remeber that i had posted a topic on here regarding window installation and recommended technique. After Mick and Dave turned up we had a crack at it. The rubber had been sitting out in the sun for about an hour, whipped it onto the car, greased up with a kilo or rubber grease and stated working the window in. With four sets of hands on the job we where finished in ten minutes. Not an easy job and i am glad its behind me. After that Mick used his magic to whip up a the locking strip installation tool out of a wire coat hanger and a pair of vice grips (see How To threads)(Mick , i think you left the vice grips at our place. Might have to hold them to ransom to make sure i get you over again  ).
After the mirror we installed the new fuel pup, fixed the carby float bowl needle, and turned her over. Following a bit of tuning she idels like a dream. Its all comming together now and should be road ready soon. I am still having a problem with the breaks but i will start a new thread for that.

Again, a big thanks to Mick and Davo for lending their time on my little project. Much appreciated guys. If i can do the same for you, all you need to do is ask. :D

No problem, the beers and the good company helped.

Am sending a crack team of SAS around to secure the vice grips.. 8)
