That's not too bad. My current project was (and will be again when I'm finished) a vinyl roof Leyland LS.

There are gaping holes in the roof around the edges, and the drip rail and gutter in some spots have holes right through, elsewhere, deep pitting.

I'm getting a lot of help at the mom,ent on rust repairs to the car. I havne't started the roof but a proposed solution (other than cutting the roof off and getting another :shock: ) is to fill the ditchs with bronze welding and cut and shut all the big holes. Only problem with bronze welding is that you can't really do anymore normal welding to that area again without getting all the bronze out.

Having a second look at the first pic, it is repairable, no doubts at that.

However, unless you are skilled, or like me, getting a lot of help from someone who's been doing stuff like that for a long time, you might find it difficult.

In any case there are various ways of fixing that roof. Sounds like Doogie might be able to help you, get some help, goodluck!

i went vynal spray from a can, took 2 can and looked a treat, open all the windows and doors and cover everything you dont wont over spray on i found it on the side oil drum 5 meters away and dont gas your self, pedalstool fan might be the go next time,
