im trying to put an Avatar in but every thing i put in it sez it has to be less the 94kb can anyone help

Yes. Upload a picture that is less than 94kb.

i bet tinymorris reckons that it's a stupid rule and that he should be able to upload as big as image as he wants...

You are allowed as big a picture as you want as long as it is not displayed within the avatar window...

well where else can u put it and how

you can only put it in your avatar, and you can only upload it through your profile page.

you can also put a pic in your sig, but this also has size limitations to be considerate to those on a low speed connection.. you do this through your profile page too, and its the same as posting a pic in a post

I downloaded a free pic resizing program called PIXresizer.

you could even use such a basic application as microsoft paint to resize the picture using image/stretch-skew (just make sure you change both height and width by the same amount) and a little trial and error should be all you need to get it the size you want (the picture i mean).
