:D <------ Me

I just bought (well almost, deal accepted, need to pay) a ONE OWNER AND TOTALLY ORIGINAL Mini K.

Nearly immaculate in condition, one owner from new (even has the original car dealer badge on the back, and owner handbook). Owned by a 80 something year old guy. I just went and knocked on the door and asked if he wanted to sell it.

This will go on club plates for sure! I think I will name him 'pops'...after the old guy who owns it.

Pics and more info when it's in my driveway.

Rescued indeed. It has been unreg for 5 years. Tucked away under a carport.

Got it for a great price too!! 8)

It's white, and has light blue trim. It's all there, but needs a battery and bottom rad hose before I can move it. I am going to drive it home!

I will be :D from ear to ear.

Very nice! Too bad it still isn't on the original rego. My 70 van, a one owner, I bought it from the same address it was puchased to new in 1970, still is on the original rego. :D

No doubt it will need brakes, JAM. 8)

Original Rego (and original plates) is a great thing to have on any car. IMHO it bumps the value up a fair bit, the older the car gets.

Bummer this one is out of rego.

I am leaving this K as is! It's not getting any mods or upgrades.

One 'out of the box' Mini K....... thems the rules for club plated cars in NSW.

Good to see you've finally got one with a proper remote gearbox, not that cost-saving rodchange rubbish... 8)

and on behalf of Chris' Elmo, Lizzy and Vivian who have such an inexperienced sod for a dad (oh no, not you chris) Pops could make a good elder, we'd all be in the family
