Hi all

I was very lucky to be given a set of cobra classics for my birthday. So Tonight I ordered a set of these http://www.minisport.com/acatalog/Mini_ ... tings.html tailor made frames for them. Has anyone used these before? What did you think of them?

Anyone else have any opinions?

Ryan

Yes ive got two that i modified for use with my Sparco Sprints. Seems to be a well made frame. I think there are 2 different types. One is suited to minis with a floor loop in place.

The rear feet are adjustable so you can change the angle of the seat. My engineer wasnt to happy with plastic on a seat base. So i had new feet turned up on a lathe that look exactly the same as the stock ones. Ive also bolted the rear of my frame to the floor.

But otherwise a good item.

Do the frames bolt directly into the original mounting brackets? or do they require some work to fit?

Mine fit, but i drilled the holes out in the original seat mounting brackets to take a bolt a bit bigger then a match stick with a wing nut on the end.....

For Brickworx.
How are those seats? Comfortable.
Hard to get in NZ, would love some red ones.

I personally don't like the low backs... i like my headrest.
yes they are comfy and padded unlike normal race seats.
I am only skinny and move around during spirited driving,so they would be better suited to someone slightly larger than me.
look on yahoo auctions japan, plenty on there and red ones pop up...
plus we can now deliver parts direct from Japan... save double handling and charges

With the Cobra classic and headrest can you still reach around and open the RH rear window?
I hate my Cobra Trophy for that reason (I can't). :x
