just a quick question, how do you guys mount your dash face?
do you have metal brackets that it screws onto?
just curious

I have metal brackets holding mine in with screws from the far sides, and a hook thing
to hold it in the middle.

Here is my dash I didnt want to put in xtra guages so I put them in the origional dash consoul. The other reason is the withe the webber carb I needed to move the speedo to one side. The speedo is out of a 1300 I bought the rev counter, batt voltage and the fuel guage. I wanted a classic look that was different but simple.
Sorry bout the mess on the floor....the mello yello bottle is for the window squirters.

Cheers
Damon

When you make your dash fix some bolts into it, then make up some U shape brackets to hook it over the top and bottom dash rails, from behind.

Amen to that. Also like Meehal's - I much prefer keeping the dash open as it's period, and part of what makes an early Mini (Pre-Rover) a Mini.

Having said that, the others are great examples. Each to their own - again, that's part of Mini ownership.
