I'm Jonathan Cutt from Victoria Park in Western Australia. At the moment, I'm driving a deseamed and debumpered 1974 Clubman with a 1430cc 1990 Cooper S engine with a 45 Weber. I've just ordered some 12" Supalites, and after I slot those one, I'm getting disc brakes put on the front end, so I can finally stop the damn thing.

Hahaha! Yeah I meant "Superlites". Had a bit of a brain spasm there.

Nah, a Maserati is just one of those things on my "must buy one day" list... along with an Aston Martin Vanquish S.

Haha! Yeah, a 1430 with a Weber and drums on all fours... Lets just say that stopping has to be thought about and planned well in advance. Doesn't help when your A-008s are as bald as plucked chickens... And air in the brake lines... Weeeee

A 14 year old working on my car!? I should hope not! I'm glad I'm in WA! :D Ha! Nah, that's cool Sean. Good to see young'ns breaking away from the V8/Jap import cliche. Nice to meet you.

jill200sx - Nah, I don't have any pics at the moment. Not since I had it fixed after someone reversed into my front left corner and drove off without leaving a note. :( = me a while ago. But I tell you, once you have seen/had deseamed, you'll never go back. Heh heh.

Well I thought I had better introduce myself since I've been imposing on threads already :D So if anyone really wanted to know...

My name is Trae and I live in Newcastle. I have graced the earth for 27 years now. I grew up in a family that had an obsessive passion for cars, of all makes and models, my passion has always been Mini's..Naturally..

So since I'm now off work to look after my young son I've decided now's the time to buy a mini to restore etc..My own little project..Though hubby is Ford crazy he has really got into Mini's i'll convert him yet *cracks whip*

Hi all. I'm Jamie, (but everyone calls me Jazz), 26yo from Sydney, NSW.
I've got a 1100 De'Luxe i'm about start/continue rebuilding.
I don't know heaps about mini's (yet) and I'm rebuilding mine as a way to put all the theory I know about cars into practice. I usually pay someone else to do it and thought it was a bout time I got a bit more hands on.

Past projects are my Turbo Lancer MR http://www.funkynerd.com/gallery/lancer
and I'm still working on my 1988 Toyota Supra GT Turbo Ahttp://www.funkynerd.com/gallery/Supra1

The mini is the first car I want to do ENTIRELY on my own.

And people wonder where all my money goes...

Hi all :D Welcome!

FatMaserati - no pics, even an old one? Id love to see a clubby debumpered, would save me looking for a straight bumper (although I think Ive found one and a set of overriders)

Is yours clubby or Morrie?

Is debumpered legal?

You will have to go into your profile and upload a pic or find one on the net to use. Must be very small tho.

welcome all.
