Well guys it's time to pull the motor out of the car. (A) To fix the oil pump
(B) To pull the subframe out and test fit the starlet frame

Image

Out with the "A" series

Image

The empty engine bay with standard subframe

Image

Nose 2 nose

Image

Both subframes out

Image

Changing the oil pump

Image

Starlet frame in the car, I didnt cut to much out until i actually fit the frame for the last time

Image
Image

Heres the frame after full welding, look familiar anyone?
Image

Heres the frame back in the test car

Image

And the motor back in,so now i can start putting bits on and sort the wiring

Lookin good Hallsey.

Have you had the frame looked at by an engineer?
Can't wait to see it finished.

Yes Halsey, that frame does look familiar.

Good work Ol' Sock.

Not long to go now, and I cant wait till you drive Simply Red under new power for the first time. Should be a hoot.

Cheers,
Tricky

Hi guys, na engineer has'nt seen the frame yet but i have spoken with him in detail .When i first approached him to inquire about what i wanted to do he already had a file on Matt Power's build with all the info from his website. So he said if i stick with what Matt has done i should'nt have any problems.

Yeah Tricky i cant wait to drive it either, I got pretty excited reading about Pub's first drive.
cheers Hallsey
