Whats the best wat to remove pulley bolt when engine is out of the car with clutch/flywheel removed???

You could stuff a long piece of rag in the spark plug hole to lock her up...But i would just put the flywheel back on with the cover and put a screw diver thru the starter motor hole and lock it up that way to undo the bolt...Cheers!!

Put a socket on the bolt and give the bar a whack with a block of wood.

I assume the question is because the engine and gearbox are still attached?

Otherwise just stick a suitable piece (inch and a half square?) of hardwood between the crank and case.

If 1. then maybe a rattle gun?

feed a bit of rope down the spark plug hole, I've done it a few times, works well ;)
