31st is correct. As I said the dyno is still VERY preliminary at this stage - I'm still waiting to hear back from people. There should be more to do this year than in previous years - but you'll have to attend to find out

I think we will need to have a ausmini get together happening, I'll probably be wearing my MOCQ shirt - so look out for a young bloke with "Nick" on his shirt

Maybe evan an Ausmini run the day before? Or an Event run by Ausmini for the day?

Count me in for at least one mini!

Cheers

Matt

That's even a good idea if this one doesn't float. I have called heaps of places with dyno's - so finding one shouldn't be a problem.

IF I was going to organise it, it would have to wait until after the Muster. If someone else wants to start organising a ausmini one for before the muster feel free and I will try and get along  (Preferably make it a Sunday if you can :) )

<edit> I just realised you said a "run" not a run on the dyno

I'm not staying over night (at this stage) so you can count me out.

UPDATE:

Ok guys, I have tried my hardest and I don't know what else to do. Unfortunately I can't find a single person who has a moveable dyno who is willing to come along - no matter what is offered (money, sponsorship deals etc).

So unless anyone has any other names they would like to give me the dyno will deffinitely NOT be going ahead at the mini muster......simple as that

Sorry guys,

Nick

Bummer,

Would have been a plus if it would have all come off. I think the idea of a QLD AUSMINI dyno day might be the way to go instead then!

Thanks for checking it out Nick. We'll consider it dead unless anyone else can think of a portable Dyno & operator in Brisbane. Damn it it's not that much a country town still is it?

Cheers
matt

We used to be able to organise a portable dyno for a few of our car shows here in Cairns, but in the end to many people complained that there cars didnt make a billion horsepower, and that the dyno was incorrect. So the dyno operator stopped offering his services for the car shows......

That is exactly it! I thought there would be someone down there that could help us out! Looks like a SE Queensland dyno day wil be the go.

Any takers? I'm happy to organise it but I would like a fair few people to come - oh and it will be in Toowoomba :P

I don't blame him for not offering his services anymore! It is so easy to complain and critisise sometimes that people don't know the effort that goes into putting together an event like that.

Nick,

Just a quick note on a couple of things........

'Tuned' at Woolloongabba have aligned themselves with QBR and given us a good deal on all QBR conversions - full base map, dyno tune followed by a street tune for $300 (if anybody is interested). Could we not take advantage of their hospitality for the dyno day?? I know you said Toowoomba, but what if Brisbane was an alternative.

Also, with regards, to the Mini Muster - feel free to stay at my place the night before. With all the help you have given me in the past, dinner and beer are on me! :D

Cheers,
Tricky

Thanks for the offer Tricky but I might have to get back to you once it gets a little closer to the muster - so that I actually know what I am doing!

It should still be a great day.
