Enjoy and stay safe on the roads :D

Spent a few hours today swapping bits from the old engine to the new one and sitting it in place in ID10CY.

Tomorrow I'll be connecting everything up and getting it going (I hope)

We got a few bargains this week:

2nd Hand 1100 with Rod Change Box, LCB and Big Exhaust.
Front and Rear Subframes (nicely painted)
Cooper S Disk Brakes & Booster
    Mountney Steering Wheel
    Engine Crane

All for $890.00.

Means I've got a few days work ahead of me though.....

Seeing it's the Moke's birthday Monday week (March 31 - like horses, all Mokes celebrate their birthday on that day) I thought I'd give the Moke an early birthday present and fix the front suspension/steering.

Actually, it's more because it doesn't sound or feel safe with all the noises coming from under there and with the vague steering.

I'm glad it's not going to be 38 degrees! :D

Cheers,
Watto.

Also mucked around with the Moke over Easter-any Eagles supporters here
