Was the vandalism done while you owned it or did you buy it like that ? Would be horrible to come out and find your car like that .

It's certainly fixable , seats and interior won't be too hard to get , sorting the wiring out might be a bit harder though as you'll probably be chasing faults for a while . Might be worth looking at a new wiring harness at some stage as it'll be easier than chasing the faults from the burnt wires/insulation .

Oh yeah , ignore the Beans suggestions about retribution , he's seen too many gangsta movies , Karma has a way of catching up with the low lifes that do this stuff .....

man that makes me sick. :x

Well good luck with the rebuild. 1st thing you probably should do is clean everything up and see what you have and what you have to replace.

often the smoke makes it look worse than it is.

At least you will have a heap of support on here!

yer i bought the mini as a package deal from a bloke in canberra, i was originally going to use the engine parts for spares for a hsc project, but i realised that it would be more fun and satisfying having two complete, road worthy minis.

also where could i be able to get my dash re-foamed and vinyled(dont no if thats a word but anyway, you should catch my drift) how much have other people payed...

thanks leighton

37's not too old bean and 15 years on construction sites (driving dozers and other plant plus being a powder monkey amongst other things) dealing with neanderthals in reflective vests has taught me more than enough ways of how to deal with low lifes without having to "pop a cap in their ass" like a Z grade action movie extra .

No need to , what you're seeing there is the bottom of a removable dash pad , there are some nuts underneath that hold it on and possibly a screw (long time since I took a clubby dash pad off) . Put a wanted post in and someone's bound to have one near you .
