yes u read correctly.
after these vandils made a mess of MY WHOLE CAR, after further assessment with the crash repairers, we've come to the conclusion that the whole car needs painting. so i get to choose whatever colour/s i want except for pearls and all that crazy jazz

im thinking gun metal grey with 2 black stripes and black roof.
they're also putting new fibreglass flairs on and painting them.

ideas people.

I'm pretty sure you only have to chop some of the guard if you go low and/or 7"wide

EDIT: Spelling

Depends on how low your car is... and the wheel width.
You may have to cut the front section of front guards behind the flair

I think with Flares that you first fit the flares if needs be/rubber extrusion included if you are going that way.

Then paint the car and the Flares seperately then carefully put the flares back on.

Saves flexing of paint st the join at a later stage - I know this is basic stuff but not every repairer knows or cares.

these guys care and know luckily.

he knew everything before i even said it, anything that only mini people would really know, and he was up with it.
i gave him the idea of gun metal grey and black stripes. he got was heaps excited

he was heaps pissed off, that people would do it to my car.
when we looked at my car today for the final quote (of $2082.30) we discovered that they'd either gone at the bonnet with a scourer or some metho or something that would eat away at the paint.

we're just like.. err WTF!

some people

i myself am paying a $300 excess fee.
but the actual quote was $2082.30 after all the damage had been done

it's not a respray as such, they're not removing the whole interior/windows etc, just spraying the outside. if i change the outside, the inside paint won't match... but it doesnt already
