On to the front end now and thinking about the lack of support brace. Is it worth replacing? I made up a brace that is 1'' wide and I can see where it was spot welded at the bottom position, but don't know where it connected at the top. Think it runs straight up on the deluxe. Is this correct?

Picture shows the brace clamped in what I think is the correct position. Does anyone have a photo of the front of their deluxe to compare?

Tell me if it is not needed

That is the correct place and way that they fit.
Cheers Pete
