So why is the name "freaking'. :x

It appears even our swear words are caving under the weight of the American dictionary.

well i cant use a swear would so freaking is sorta close to it. plus im annoyed i had to change the title but lets not get side tracked.

i have rang a number of times and either get some new guy tell me he will call me back but doesnt or get told they will be done on a date and then when i call back to confirm it someone else answers and doesnt know anything about it

But they are very nice people and even still they have bits i want so i will continue to deal with them

Tiny, your post still makes sense with out naming the business.

my suggestion is you call them up and demand some answers on the phone, if they won't give them to you tell them you'll be coming up there to get some answers (don't threaten, just by going there they can't hang up on you when you don't get off the phone) another one is asking them to give you the number of the place they sent your parts to. You have the right to know where they are, and when you will be getting them back

Another one is writing a letter somewhere along the lines of:

TO whom it may concern,
I drop these parts off to you on such and such a date, and was told they would be completed by now.

I have been patient and tried contacting you on progress and have been unable to get any info on this, and have been told I will be called back etc, but that has no occurred. I give you till this date to get back to me on the progress of my parts, what is required in fixing them, approximate cost, and estimated time of completion. If not then further action will have to be taken.

Make sure you keep a copy of the letter. Usually when you put things in writing people get a wriggle on and start doing the right thing, because it shows a record of actions taken.

THINGS NOT TO DO:
Threaten them with anything other than seeing your solicitor.
Swear at them.
Be careful on how you speak to them on the phone also, there is a difference in being forceful with your communication and unjustifiably angry.

Hope that all makes sense, i don't have time to proof read my ramble.

Good luck and I hope everything works out ok.

Cass

If you are that upset, go pick up your bits and take them elsewhere

I agree with the others Tiny - the tirade of dissatisfaction has gone on long enough. You have the options already and we don't need to hear about what your goinjg to do - just do it.

the post as only been up 1 nite? take it easy. second of all i have rang them and ill be calling them tomorrow. and lastly this post original was to find out if anyone else has had work taking longer then expected lately not to whinge and complain. oviously there are a few people here who have had trouble.

i havent threaten them or anything like that. i dont crack it because i realise how busy they have been so its understandable to be taking a while. i didnt call today cause i didnt call today cause ill give it till tomorrow and if they still havent got answers then ill be demanding some
