call them today the carbies will be ready to be put in friday.. or was it next friday :? . and i have spoken to the owner twice about it and i would get my carbies but one i havent had time to go down to get them and two they have been sent somewhere else.

like i said the place is good and the guys do a good job but ive noticed that if things go to s**t then want you want done just get push back. and lucky i reminded them about putting in some needles in that i wanted instead of the standard ones. guys dont take it as if im having ago at the place i only wanted to know if anyone else who has ordered or gotten work done from them lately has taken longer then usual thats it.

Like I said in the second post, this is fairly usual in the motor repair business.

I know a panel beater that still has a customers car (HQ 2 door Monaro) up the back of the workshop. It was there when I did work experience there in 1978.

Some blokes just can't rush perfection.
