theres a guy in qld building a clubby/moke hybrid and he has designed his own molds for a cool looking one piece full dash mold dashboard. i have no idea what he wants for them, but he was real close to putting it into production last time i saw him..

I did a aluminium dash that fits between the 2 pieces of the existing clubman dash.

You can get sheet aluminium from an airconditioner fabrication place that way you can get them to put a bend in the length of it (which would be really hard to bend at home) after that it was pretty fiddly working out where to take out metal to get the shape right but in the end it looked great and pretty race like (well I think anyway) Sorry I don't have any photos otherwise I'd post them and I am now about 8 hrs away from that mini so I won't be seeing it in a while

All up it cost very little and there are only three screws you can see, 1 to hold the gauges up to the aluminium nice and tight. The other two go into the holes that were left by the old clubman radio.

Oh there are also some rivels (not pop rivets) so that I have a cute little glove box :) , and a latch (cam lock I think they called it) to hold it closed.

PM me if you want to know anything else

Bye, Arrin

Well I am a very lucky woman. I have a husband who will allow me to live out my fantasies (as far as minis go anyway) and he still has the patience to work on them, clean them, drive them, and well, just about live for them. What more can I say.

We were very proud yesterday to be awarded 1st place in the Street Machine Tudor Post 1948 class at the Melbourne Hot Rod & Custom Show. John cleaned most of the car while he was on holidays, which he specifically took to get ready for the show. He's just as bad as me when it comes to our Minis. We just can't help ourselves.

I say go for it to any woman, we can give these guys something to reach for. Those of you who came to MINISHOW will remember DBEEST and LURKER and there are more female owned minis coming up in the ranks.
