Why not use both? They look like a normal set of twin SU's too me, not the Hitachi's that Datto's originally came with. I'd be getting a twin manifold

I like the knurled nut for the mixtures....were these made under license in japan does anyone know? Or did minis get the budget 1.5 inch SUs?

Jap copies. Made under license. (Mikuni? :? )

I wonder if the SU needles fit? If they don't it could be a problem getting the right needle for the job.

The Japs (Hitachi) made both dome top and flat top SU copies.

Some parts fit and some dont. Better made than SUs. The piston spring is different ( variable if I remember correctly) to the standard SU options.

Anyways:
If the SU needles fit (easy to figure out) - why not use em?
They seem to have some fine improvements in design.

Cheers,
Jan

PS: To be fair: my HIF44 is almost PERFEKT worked up!!
