Normal round pizza's would be good but see if you can get a pasta machine modified so the ravioli is mini shaped etc . If you're going to run with the mini theme and get all the approvals you might as well go all out and really corner the market , your sizes could be 850 , clubman and cooper s for example , pizza's named after rally's (marinara could be the monte carlo , spicy one could be the african safari etc) , Italian Job style overalls for staff uniforms ....

I'm surprised this thread made it to 3 pages before that came out ....

Tiny , if your mum decides to go ahead with this find a good business lawyer and get everything straight from the start , we're all bush lawyers here and that's no substitute for proper legal advice .

that would just cause chaos for those who don't know minis. I have enough trouble explaining to people that my 850 is NOT a cooper s, and that the mini that just drove passed is not the same as mine because it is a clubman.

oh and  at BIAM

I know , but I probably wouldn't go to a restaurant that makes a couple of mentions of mini without much else but would definitely try one that was fully themed on the mini or Italian job .

Spoil all my fun Dane  , it would be a fun "in joke" but yes , it would be as confusing as BIAM's phone call further up the page .

When I get my lotto win  I would open the equivalent to the Ace Cafe London. A food and meeting place just for car people.

But I would open in it in the inner East or inner West, so we arent that far apart in thought.

Oh god did I just say that   I need a drink

Honestly, the only way you'll find that out is to build it and see if they come. Folks will talk about their patronage all day, but may show up once if at all.. when you really need regulars.

The trouble with pizza / Italian in general is there's one on every other street corner, and everyone's got their local fave. Produce good food and it won't matter what your gimmick is, but if the food sucks you could have topless chicks deliver pizza's in hot air balloons and still not turn a profit.

thats the thing tiny you cannot rely on the mini community for patronage. I personally would maybe eat there once every three or four months if a cruise was involved and i'd be meeting up with everyone but i cannot see the same faces rocking up every second night. just my thoughts

Have a look at this website , it's a bar/restaurant in Hobart and is well setup . Something like this themed on mini's would be a good business for all car groups really but you'd have to do a fairly serious effort like this to stand out otherwise it's just another place with a few pictures etc .
