nice cage!! 8)

I was think of just going the hoop behind the seats with the support bars running down to the wheel arches, similar to the saloon 1/2 cages.

Any reason you added the hoop at the back? I would'nt have thought it would add that much more rigidity to the shell compared to the added weight.

The main weak area I would have thought would been through the doors, which we can't really fix and get the car rego'd (cage in front of driver's head is a no no)

Ahh so its time for a bit of an update... Nothing at all has happened to the van since the cage went in, but have booked a tow truck to take it to the panel shop to get alot more done.
I have how ever purchased a 77 californian moke which has taken up most of my time and cash recently (the van is still in sydney and the moke is here in brisbane)
So i will have some more pics of the van up as soon as things start to happen. First off at the panel shop (and its a one stop customising shop) im going to get the hydraulics dry fitted and the suicide doors finished off.... And then who knows  All depends on how the quickly the cash flows away, i dont want to sell the moke to keep the van moving

Hey Dan,

Nice to get an update, and any progress is good progress.

Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh when it arrives in Brisvegas.

Cheers,
Tricky
