hey guys, what is teh diode taht i need for the mini to make the tacho behave properly?

and where would i find one?

mine doesn't need one :? not sure if I've ever heard of needing one before...

A general purpose diode should be OK - depends on the current being drawn you can get them in 1 amp or 3 amp and the voltage rating can be 400 or 1000 volts

If you want to be safe grab a 3amp 1000volt - 25cents won't break the bank and you have some overkill to help cope with the heat if it's in the engine bay that's a 1N5408 or a 1Amp 400 volt is 1N4004 - most commonly used yet is 40c each :?
