I was going to put it up yesterday but I wanted to see how long you would tap your fingers on the desk.

Tuesdays update....
I noticed a falling off in the molasses results, I have figured that this is due to a lack of warmth in my shed. So I rigged up a way of heating the molasses to try and improve things. So I fired up the barbie  ...
Image

The molasses would eat through a steel container so I filled a milo tin with water and then stuck the molasses and parts into a cut down plastic bottle.

This is Tuesdays result before I heated up the molasses...

I will go out to the shed shortly to get Wednesdays photo. (unless gadgets complains and then I will do it next week.)

This is not a very scientific experiment. There are getting to be way too many variables. But entertaining still. I applaud your dedication to the experiment.

To prove that there is no science involved, todays result looks just the same as the last 4 days results.
So I have altered the ratio of the Molasses, I was using 10 to 1 so I have doubled it to 5 to 1.

Wednesdays photos..

Since you have come this far - just for interest, try electroplating the already rust cleaned flanges with a 9v battery and a rusty old bit of metal Wires also of course - I have heard it works well but have never seen it being done.

Wotcha saying KB ???

Big metal container full of electrolyte, steel chair in the solution, person holding the anode and the rusted item - then just a quick zap of power.

Naw - I like Mick. Use the 9v
