What is your mini ? If it's a roundie just get all your mini owning mates to bring their keys around and find one that fits (not too many combinations) , if it's a clubbie you can try the same but there were a lot more combinations by then . Otherwise you'd be better with a locksmith who could strip your existing locks , find out what the keys are and remake the keys to suit .

If you know the numbers or can get the car to him, Ken Nelson at Mini Automotive in Ipswich should be able to help.

Cheers

If you take the car to a locksmith, he will be able to change the lock for you as well as make you new keys. Might be a good idea if they have also got your address in some way via the work car..

the lock barrels, bodys have key numbers stamped on them.
also in the cars 'hand book' if you have it.

the numbers relate to the key tooth profile.

I have a master key for office drawers and filing cabinets at work. I found it fits all the locks on my Mini, and the post box, It also works next doors post box..... I have also found once I start the Mini I can simply pull the key out of the ignition barrell. Amazing
