Well it's finally happened, it's alive and registered :D , thanks to John and Glenn at the mini king as they took the car under their wing for the last two weeks and helped me finish it before I had to get a blue slip!. I still have to do a few little things to complete the build but it's 99% finished and I can't stop smiling :D :D , driving it is like chaulk and cheese compared to the 998, the torque is amazing  , it's the first time I have experienced torque steer (without trying), in a mini....and I'm addicted  . Again, a big thanks to John and Glenn for their help and last but not least, thanks GR for building an awsome motor 8) 8) .

Yeh, its back on the road again Neil, thanks to a nice set of K-lines from GR 8) , and the rocker cover is a brushed alloy look Jim, and thats the way it's staying... , and yes there is still a little polishing and pain ting to do under the bonnet so it will meet with your approval soon  . As for the cabels hitting the bonnet, I'll have to check that but I don't think so.
