its snaped off in the block, and its gonna get down within the next 2 months. and just for the record this stud has been broken and driven with for 4-5yrs now. this happened when the last owner got the motor rebuilt and never went back to replace it.

mini kings already had a shot of taken it off without removing the head when the carbies were there and they told me it was hard to get out without removing the head and if im gonna take the head off to do it i wanna get it converted and modded up so i dont have to take it off twice. but to do this i need some more cash. the car has come and gone in and out of mini king since i bought it and since the last owner had it and it hasnt been fixed. theroy is that if it has blown a gasket already dont touch it.

Well.... Tiny dropped around today, I pulled out his GY needles and fitted Ms.
It went better.
Then, I pulled out the heavy yellow springs  and fitted some red? (Hitachi SU) ones courtesy of Gafmo, and it went better still. :D

Dunno what the idea was with yellow springs in HS2s, they belong in an HS6... :P

I'm amazed they are so tight but they are but they compressed to the same size.

While fitting his rear seat I inadvertantley disconnected his fuel pump and found him up the road stuck on the side of the road,
thats what you get when you have speaker wire to connect to the fuel pump  for power

That is what happens when fools hook up electric pumps. For most people a mechanical pump is safer. (It always stops the the motor does.)

I really don't mind mechanical pumps. I just hate where it is sited, on a Mini. :x So, nowadays I run Facet electrics instead, never had a problem yet.

I worked out a simple modification to the Goss pump to allow more spanner clearance. Much nicer to remove and replace. (once you remove the inlet/exhaust manifold)

lol yeah thanks kev for sorting that out with my carbies really appreciate it, and ill buy you a pie never run to pits or somewhere similar. and thanks gaf for disconnecting my fuel pump. was lovely to be stuck on the side of the road for a while  . im gonna have to get the wiring redone on the car cause by the looks of it the old owner used whateva wire was around at the time.

and dont like gaf about how you accidently disconnected my fuel pump, we all know you tryed to sabortage tiny so he couldnt run on the dyno day and beat you
