..that you have to drop the whole suspension assembly to replace. Though dropping it not an issue as the 4 rubber mounts are usually stuffed. I put my brothers XJ6 up on a 2 poster hoist and the rear wheels stayed on the ground as I lifted it :shock:

Yep I have driven an Xj6 like that - cornering was interesting as the rear end steered :shock:

I know somebody with what is claimed to be a Porsche 916 (I think its a 914-6 or a 914 with a 6 in it, but thats another story). Anyway, apparently the engine has to come out to even change the spark plugs!

that just reminds me of the Top gear episode where they bought a bunch of sports cars. a ferrari, a lambo, and a maserati i think :? had to change the oil, spark plugs and something else i think, the quickest.
