sorry no expert but what do you wish to tint
The front or the rears
Me Personaly, I would tint darker than legal on the rear and the front make them legal as as per your state

In NSW if the tint was fitted before 1 Aug 1994 you can have as dark as you want
However if it is replaced it can only go as dark as 35% :(

Dont tint them.

Dark tinted windows on old cars does not look good as far as I am concerned.

Dark tinted windows on a Mini would look like a BINI wannabe.

id have to agree here. i was thinking the same thing the other day whether to get tint or not and get the same tint thats on my other car at the moment. (limo tinting). however i reckon it spoils the car and turns it from a classic to a modern day sport car

tinted windows really makes the car looks smaller on the inside.. but greatly helps the heat factor inside.. i reckon the same tint al round looks better and ive had odd tint on a car before it just looks tacky.. plus if you go too dark its really hard to reverse at night... id suggest Midnight express from Tint a Car

to me tint doesnt help heat factor if anything it attracts it and keeps it in the cabin. every car ive been in including mine with tint always is hot when you get in the car. a mini doesnt need to keep cool on the inside, and if its hot just wind down the window and let the breeze fill the cabin within in 1 minute of driving
