Are you using the standard "S" type lower iner spring retainer, the C-AEA654 retainer or none at all?

C-AEA654 is not the original Cooper S lower inner spring locator but a later development locator, doesn't raise the inner spring like the original S one did. I run these locators with the C-AEA526 and C-AEA527 springs.

I am running the original S locators in my 1360 with .493" lift.
The 1412 stroker (Corolla rockers and RE13 cam), .426" lift has them too.
