Just after some help I've got a nugget gold 1978 1275 LS.

I am trying to get it back to its original condition as I know they are rare like this.

Im after Photos of the interior mainly. from anyone that has the same car or pictures of the same car.

also I would like to know how to tell what build number it is and how many nugget gold LS's were made, if anyone knows

Thanks

Chris Zerial (czerial on here) is doing a 1275LS register and should be able to answer that (and most other questions) for you , he's currently touring around Europe though so not sure how quick he can get back to you , send him a PM and see what happens .

The latest mini experience has an article on both the ss and LS minis. Try and grab a copy and have a read.

LS and LS minis are a fair bit different to 1275 LS's

a couple of weeks ago someone was asking about recolouring their 1275LS seats to black - do a search and find them and buy their seats!

Hay, it's not about the car, it's not about the venue, it's about the people that come here. Peter Dwyer, Mayor of Hay NSW.

Yep. Leyland put the rust there. Standard equipment on a 1275 LS.

Hi, as far as I know 600 gold and 400 silver were made,I have a silver 1275LS which has only travelled 68 000 km,which I got off the original owner, it's in the readers cars section of issue 10 of TME,I think the 1275LS was the best Leyland mini made except for the GT. I love driving it, although it spends most of its time in the garage,Tony
