I'll be in Melb for the next fortnight and would like to know what shops are around that stock interiors. Mainly looking for 850 door cards and carpet for the van.
I'll be visiting a few mini shops while I'm there anyway, but a bit of inside info always helps

Cheers.

850's didnt have door cards (sliding window) the "horse hair" stuff was stuck to the door itself. There's a place 5 - 10 mins from me where i get rolls of carpet and cut myself just cant remember the name at the moment but will get back to you on that (its in leo street fawkner).

Thanks Scott.
Yeah my 850 sedan has it stuck to the door as well but I didn't know if that was originally done or not.
I'll be dropping in the next day or so while I'm in town so I'll talk to you then.

Daleys AMU is who you're thinking of Scott.

What? You hold a coffee cup full of water up next to that giant heat lamp and it boils the coffee for you?

Sure will come by to see that ;)

PS... when I left your place to find that auto spark, I found a yard full of 1100s and Austin 1800s nearby. And a squillion year old owner who has been doing BMC auto box repairs for 40 years. I'm going back for some bits and pieces when I get the time!
