Can anyone tell me what I should be tightening the third motion retainer bolts up to? I can't seem to find it in the workshop manual...I took a guess at 30lbs but it would seem too much for the ally case I would think..

Transmission case bolts (5/16" UNC) 6 lb/ft.
According to 2 of my manuals (including Leyland black book).

Sounds a bit low to me, I probably use 15 or so.. and if no locktabs handy I Loctite them with 262 :lol:

6lbs! Hardly seems worth getting the torque wrench out of it's case...

But 15 lbs it is...

My manual says 13ft lbs, so 15 will be fine :D
