Can anyone supply me with good diagrams and dimensions for mark 1 cooper s heaters? I can't find any reproductions or second hand ones for sale at a fair price and want to have a go at making my own. Any help would be great.

You could try and pick one up from UK ebay, I got mine for 10 pounds, I don't know what condition its in yet though it's still in the mail, max 3 months for sea mail they tell me...
The postage definitely is the killer though.

If this doesn't help I may be able to help with dimensions once it does get here...

Get a Moke heater, they are close enough

What about using a 78 onwards moke one very similar only front part different use as is or modify to look like a S one

Another option is a late model Morris Minor heater. Saw one in NZ recently in a Minor ute. Elderly owner had it from new and assured me it was original. Only difference to a MK1 S heater was it doesn't come with the 2 side pieces that cover the demister hoses.

hi there we have about 6 mk1 s heaters at the moment(all in well used condition) so they are around, as for prices i guess it all depends on what you call a fair price,they do arrtct the cooper s tax(a bit like the gst)

hey aaron i should have said the fuel exise tax, thats about 200% these days,may have to start importing 850's :lol: :lol: :P :lol: :lol:
