yippeee new Moke speed record

60mph indicated :D

2 more mph to go

the previous record was 55mph but this time it was specially tuned for the speed record :D

it was nice and stable and was quite quiet other than the wind noise.

I think I could break 65 if I took the windscreen off

I was doing 110km/h on the freeway in my moke on the weekend before it broke...

Previous to that, we had the roof on and couldnt get over 80km/h..!!! Huge difference.

Nope he's just an 1152, RE13 cam, 295 head, 40DHLA Dellorto.
A bit tired now but still hauls ass, he won the 1100 class last dyno day. 8)

Gafmo reckons he'll win it this time though, I just finished making his 1.3:1 offset rockers.

I can get over 120km/h with the roof down on a still day.

With the roof up aerodynamics are better - I can top 130. :)

1275 A+ Auto, sports filter, extractors and a Neesan dizzy.
