hi was just wondering how much for a second hand sub frame in average condition. to suit a 78s clubman with dry suspension

ok yeh i dont use ebay.dont like it personally. would that come with everything or just a subframe nothing else?

hey mate as far as i know there isnt really any adjustment in the rear. theres not much to it at all, i got a few subbies out the back, ill have a look at how good they are because i think they are pretty rusted. and itl cost ya a 6 pack, if you can wait till the weekend ill take some pics for ya, i dont get home till' after dark during the week now. send a pm if you are interested

The only real dramas you may have is the normal stuff with any mini, the rear trailing arm may have some play in them, wheel bearings may need to be replaced, along with brakes, hoses, wheel cylinders. Are you swaping over subbies or building a car from a scratch?

swapping one thats bent from me being a d!@k head.my only car at the moment so yeh.need it sorted or might just sell it as is for whatever i can get for it.

Just get a bare rear subby, give it a lick of paint, then swap everything over. Should only take a full day, maybe two. Whilst your at it, just give everything a once over and your on your way.

im pretty sure i need everything on the left side as the wheel is tucked in a fair way and was rubbing on shock absorber. ive bent it back from the shock now tho so its sort of driveable.

Guys like John Leffler at St george steering can fix issues with bent/out of alignment rear subframes, changing the whole thing may not be nessacary.

nope i dont its was dark by the time i got home. i just put the spare on as it was skinnier than the one that was on it but the rims stuffed pretty good sparks came off the gutter tho.
