Because in th future some unfortunaye bloke like me might end up with them and getting the paint off is damn hard.

Why why why hwy why do people paint a perfectly good set of wheels?

I vote silver, but i don't like gold in general.

How'd you get it off oz? i'm going to strip mine back i think, use alot of rubbing and some fine sandpaper to get a nice polished look...

THey look bigger silver. They look so good I almost changed my 12" wheels for them - almost.

He didn't spray them, PO did..Silver is the natural colour...

No way, just get a tin of QULAITY paint stripper and a small wire brush. do not hold back on the stripper, let it stand for a few minutes then attack it with the wire brush. THe run a slow hose over it and againg attack it with wire brush the pain stripper will wash off. THen start process again. It took four goes for me to get that result.

Do you really think I would complain about people painting wheels then paint them myslef? and even if I did paint them of course I would clean them first.

Big willy, I think the car is labelled Imitation Gold and they did a great job it really does look imitation. But Imitation Crap would be a better name.

They are GB wheels, about 100 sets of them were bought in to Oz in the very early 90's, they were silver when new.
