This has no doubt been asked before. But does anyone have a link for a colour chart or a list of colours.

I dont want to choose one and ruin a good original.

Thanks,

:D

Thanks AJ,
When you say list as having green, where are you quoting from? I would love to either know the name of the colour or see it.

I am trying to decide between green and black. I have seen some great blacks (probably too many) and some really horrible greens.

Take a look at the first issue of The Mini Experience. There is a detailed article about a 65 Cooper S in BRG with toga white roof. It as plenty of interior shots.

Just keep in mind that the carpet material for the 65 model was different to the proceeding (66+) Westminster type.

Not sure if this will help or confuse the situation further but here's a Paint and Interior colour code chart: http://www.ozcooper.com.au/paint_codes.htm
Cheers
Rog.

Handy list to have, but they seem to be Duco shades not Upholstery colours

Not sure about a 65 S but all of the other green S's I have seen have green interior. I restored a Lake Green/Snow White 1967/8 S about 10+ years ago and found vinyl very close to the original. Original was a light green vinyl which ages to look greyish/green. I found some vinyl which had not been exposed to sunlight on the flap at the top of the rear seat to make my comparison. I still have a sample of that vinyl if you need to see it.

Green 1963 Cooper 997's also had green vinyl which was slightly different in colour.

PM your details and Ill send you a small sample.
