 Post subject: Weird polish...?

Today I polished Pops with Ajax! He had lots of 'stains' in the paintwork, probably from sitting for so long and not being washed. I tried cutting compound, polishes, paint cleaners, and finally Ajax, which did the best job of restoring old paint I have ever seen.

When I was really young, my grandfather polished his new HJ kingswood with Mr Sheen!!

What strange product have you used to clean your car?

Done that already Duc...and you are correct, it cleans seats very well.

Gumption or whatever its called....only on alloy bits though. Has done the trick.

Ajax works really well for honing dashpots as well - cleans the gunk out and gets the surface all nice...
