I had my Mini tuned at Kent Town auto tune.
He knows his SU stuff. Not so great with boosted SU's though, things seem to work very differently when there's a supercharger there.
After tuning (which cost half what spaceboy spent...) it foulled the plugs on the way home and had to be towed. But after a phone call, he asked me to bring my SU back in, there was an issue with the float valve and it was shaking or something like that.
After it was fixed I put the newly fixed carby back on my car, it ran great after having to reset the idle mixture.
Later I broke the idler gear, and had the gearbox rebuilt. I couldn't get the car started (ignition issues) and trailered the car to Armstrong Motors, he set it up.
It misfired all the way home, I drove the car the next day no problems and no problems since

!
In summary,
Jason Armstrong is the best, most honest and nicest Mini mechanic I've ever met and spent money at. Probably the only time I've ever been satifisfied with handing over my hard earned money.
Kent Town Auto Tune, SU and weber specialist. Really a carby tuning guy, don't take the car there with ignition issues or any other simple grumbles as that is not what he does it WILL cost you lots of money while he farts around not dynoing your car. But if everythings great and you've jsut put a weber on that then he'd be great.
