Cheers,
I looked everywhere for the edis. lol

Could i also ask the sheild wire? what is it? and how do you connect it up?

And finally how do you time the ignition? I know the you have two bins the load and the advance on the graph. Do you just try to get a smooth curve?

Cheers for the help

Shielded wire is basically a wire that has a sleeve around it that you can ground at both ends (so that you dont get interferance) its not a MUST but it helps alot.

You can get the shielded 2 core wire for the pip/saw from Jaycar electronics (couple bucks a meter)

You time it using a map, rpm vs load... you can start with a basic map from someone else, and then tune on a dyno/rolling road to get it perfect for your motor (each motor is different)

You have been to the Autosport forums right? Heaps of info about maps, etc etc on there... get it installed and you can actually download peoples maps (eg/ Aldon Dizzy map (yellow, etc) or peoples custom maps, etc... but I would always check it on a dyno to be safe.

If you unplug the Megajolt and just run edis it will run in 10deg btdc as a 'limp home' mode... so if your worried, run it that way to get to the dyno, then plug in megajolt and tune from there.

I had MJ fitted to my mini before i pulled the engine. I will try and find some pics. It was pretty easy to do. the hardest bit is setting up the map after it is all installed
