And every time he has a fiddle to "just make it a bit better" he'll get a nice low amperage 'belt' as a bit of a reminder to not touch that again. :D

well im now the prud father of tinys twins.after firt putting them on with out trully looking at them i found my engine running crapwchich was a surprise to me cause they had so much time and money spend on them.after some advice from here i desided to pull them back of and put them on bench and have a closer look at them and set it all up myself .while on the bench i ound that the drivers side piston was rising about two secs faster than the other one, after trying different plungers that i had spare and even changing from left to right i keeped on getting the same problem ,the ne on the drivers side was rising way too fast.I even tried using different grdes of oil in them bby putting a heavier grade on the fast one .This improved the rising rate to almost equal but now it was ropping slower, luckily i had couple of spare carbies lieing round replaced the pistons and walah problem fixed.when i was finally hppy with the set up i refitted them only after replacing the needles as i thought this was my problem cause the old set up was running too rich .my engine now is tuned right apart from the fack that when i hook up the vaccum advance it stalls ,i first thought it was because i fitted a pullsar dizzy and the vaccum advance has a hole in it as per the mighty vac test so i have used a vccum guage to tune it with the vaccum advance disconnected.but now after reading all this post im gonna have to go nd check the vac coming out of that vac advance port.appart from that the twins are running great andf i think they look the part ,my only regret is that i should have offered less for them.b4 this i had never playd with sus b4 ,so thnx Jo for gining me something to play with.
