it's the Wombat!! (not our Wombat, but the car is called Wombat - I think...)

it is on it's 3rd engine.... 390,000 odd miles as at Minis Down Under 2006 I believe

Morrie is going to give his S to me, I'm going to patch up some of the rust, and give it a polish ;)

How do we get from nothing done but oil changes , to it's on it's third engine?
I think this might be the car I spotted two days in a row on Glendenning rd recently. The first time I thought it was doogie in dusty ex Hay mode.

Same deal here, the shed full of S parts next to it burned to the ground.
This was ben_aus_mini's `Matic when I bought it...:mrgreen:

I would have thought that car number 5076 would have been early 69? My car is about 1000 earlier and it is a mid 68.

is that the black finish you are talking about ? I didnt know any of them had black column brackets
