hey i am looking at getting a new speedo from minispares but i was wondering what fitted for a 3.4 final drive ratio meant? my motor is a 1100s motor 1275

Means your diff ratio needs to 3.4 or you will need to have it recalibrated but then it depends on the size of your wheels - I think the Mini Spares ones are 3.4 into 12" wheels

Most Speedos have a number on the dial ( in very Small Print) this can be found on the centre part of the Speedo sometimes behind the needle sometime above the word Smiths. It may Have RPML1408 or RPKm880 just as examples, the point of this is if say your Speedo has rpml1408 and the one you are going to buy is RPML1408 then the Speedo will suit your car without re calibrating or changing gear or wheel ratios

The Minispares Mk2 S 130MPH one I got years ago is 1280 turns/mile, suits 10" wheels and 3.44 diff.
