Ive been talking about getting a Carcoon for like 10yrs.... I think i should just go and get one. Not sure if there's any other brands on the market. There cover to suit a mini is $1090.

Would the fan to keep the sucker pressurised draw much juice (I reckon it might). Would that add maybe 50 bucks a quarter to the power bill??

It will stop the geckos, spiders and cockroaches from getting on my car. Even though my car lives under a cover it still gets dusty. Once i clean it and it goes in this thing it will stay clean.

Yeah I remember the geckos getting into the cover of my car up in Darwin while I was away...and the humungous steroid rats (fed up on dry dog food) that would move into the engine bay as well.....bastard rodents. I don't mind the geckos as much as I do mind the rats.

Do they remove the humidity by some manner? If the humidity gets inside through a plain fan, could it turn into a great big steamed dim-sim in the height of the wet? Like a plastic greenhouse?

The gecko droppings drive me insane. Take the cover off the car and the gutters are full of little droppings.... The spiders dont bother me that much, the cockys are sort of taken care of with baits and ive managed to bait most of the rats that ended up living in our pantry.......I think they were attracted to the house because of our dogs dry food to.

without a dryer stage I can't see it removing any water from the air? In the wet up there the drains from an AC are like open faucets, so there is a lot to be removed.
I could just see the plastic steaming up like the Renault in Titanic...do you reckon? I'd hate to pay for it and then find out..

What would happen if you had a fuel leak?

This keeps the dust out and condensation and the car just needs to be dusted to enjoy a drive.

My biggest worry would be scratching the bajezus out of the car setting it up (zippers) and dragging over the car. I have tended to find that car covers often leave the paint looking rubbed.

How many cars have a radiator mounted between the engine and the cab!

If your worried about the humidity you could chuck one of those dehumidifier pots in there. Although it would go through them pretty quick.

If it were my car bubble I think I'd just get a big balloon and fill it with helium or argon, the car would never rust in there could be dangerous if it burst though
