g'day all went to pick up the S today adn knocked him down a couple of hundred :) so i got it for 2300 which is a pretty good price i reckon.

Don't stress, I believe it's an urban myth that they all came with the angled brace (just like the flares)..someone will be able to fill you in on the exact date they came in. Easily sourced as a new part if there should be one.

nice work carter! good base to start with and you should be able to get a good match for the green from inside the car too.
what are the other minis in the background? The red one looks like it might be another cooper?
